Keel and Curley Sangria Review

I have been wanting to head to the Keel & Curley Winery in Plant City for a while now. Ever since I heard they make wine with blueberries, blackberries and strawberries I've wanted to try their wine. I regret that even though I live a mere 45 minutes from their winery I've yet to head down there for a tour let alone a tasting.

Recently, I've noticed that Keel & Curley Wines have been making more and more appearances on the shelves of my local grocery stores. I continued to wait to try their wines because I thought it would force me to make the trek to their actual winery but all plans to wait ceased when I saw their sangria on the shelf at my regular gas station... I love sangria and the gal at the register would not shut up about how delicious it was and I broke- I bought a bottle and took it home immediately!

I put it in the freezer until it was good and cold (but not frozen!). Then, as soon as it seemed like it had reached the perfect level of cold I poured myself a glass and sat down on the couch to inhale, er I mean sip it slowly.

The drink is very good. It doesn't have the bitter after taste that often comes with sangria. It's a nice blend of fruity without being too sweet.

The Keel & Curley Sangria description: "Our Sangria is a blend of our finest red wines, Cabernet, Merlot, Pinot Noir, Blackberry and of course our famous Blueberry! These red wines are blended together with lemons, oranges, tangerines, pineapples, peaches and strawberries."

I definitely plan on purchasing the Keel & Curley Sangria again because of how good it was. It went down smooth and paired nicely with my salad at lunch and then my steak at dinner.

If this wine is any indication of how good their other wines are, I know I'm in for a real treat. I look forward to trying more soon...even if I don't make it to Plant City ;)
