#NaBloPoMo October 2013 Prompt for Monday, October 7, 2013 If you were an apple, which type of apple (Granny Smith, Gala, Red Delicious, etc) would you be and why?
I'd choose to be a Granny Smith apple because it's strong, sweet with a tartness that gives you a jolt, there are more recipes you can use them for and the apple takes longer to go brown once it is cut into pieces. I also like that Granny Smith apples hold their shape well when cooking unlike Red Delicious apples. The red ones get all mushy. I like to think that when the heat is on, I too would hold myself well instead of crumbling to mush. I also like to be sweet to folks but give people a jolt when needed. Lastly, I like to be diverse enough to work well with many different situations (recipes).
